Currently SYSTEMATIX
has the following open positions:
Controls Integrator
Design
and develop automation control systems applying
knowledge of PLC’s, HMI’s, motion control,
robotics, electronics, hydraulics and pneumatics.
Your skills will be fully utilized to program,
install and service industrial automation
equipment. This requires solid programming
experience using Rockwell
programmable controllers and articulated robots.
Experience in .NET, and SQL an asset.
Documentation
Coordinator
Design and create
operation and service documentation for the end
user, relaying technical information in a clear
and concise manner. This requires a strong
working knowledge of Word, Excel, Microsoft
Publisher and Adobe Creative Studio Suite along
with proficiency in producing video and digital
images. Strong social skills will be required to
liaise with project team members for input and
assistance in the preparation of all project
related technical documentation. AutoCAD and 3D
modelling experience is an asset.
Mechanical Designer
Responsible for generating
concepts and developing original mechanical
designs for custom automation systems using 3D
Cad Software (Autodesk Inventor).
You are a team player with keen analytical
abilities, excelling in mechanical creativity. A
degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related
technical field with a minimum of 4 years work
experience is mandatory.
Vision
Integrator
Concept, design and
commission vision systems for assembly,
measurement and inspection. This position
may also involve technical sales support.
Experience with DVT/Cognex and/or PC based
vision systems is required.

Accounting/Administrative Assistant
This position requires a conscientious and
detail oriented individual who enjoys assisting
others and responding to inquiries in a friendly
and helpful manner. The ideal candidate is
articulate, highly organized, and possesses a
pleasant personality, able to accept regular

The role encompasses a variety of office
duties, mostly within the Accounting and
Administration functions. Primary duties
include:

Reception – greeting visitors, answering and
directing calls from a multi-line telephone
system

in preparation for final payment

Applications Analyst
Working closely with the
sales team you will be responsible for developing
concepts and cost estimates for automation
solutions to meet customer needs. This requires
the creation of supporting documentation such as
CAD drawings, cost estimates and operational
details. Must be able to communicate concept
details to sales, management team, and project
related personnel. Also required to research new
products and suppliers and be available to other
departments as an internal resource.
CAD CAM
Integrator
In this new position the integrator will be
responsible for developing an automated process
for importing 3D CAD models from Autodesk
Inventor into a CAM system. This requires the
candidate to have a good practical knowledge of
CAD, CAM and CNC principles. A background in
machining would be a definite asset. You must be
a well-organized self-starter that can follow a
project from concept to implementation.
Electrical Panel Builder
Assemble and wire electrical
control panels according to engineering drawings and
schematics. Must have previous experience building
electrical panels and an ability to use hand and power
tools. A minimum Grade 12 diploma is required.
Additional courses in electricity and electronics are
preferred. This position may require you to work in
all areas in the manufacturing of automation systems
and could lead to an industrial electrician apprenticeship.
General Machinist
Must
be capable to set-up and operate a variety of
machine shop equipment, including surface
grinders, to make or modify products and parts
with precise dimensions and close tolerances.
Certificate of Qualification as a General
Machinist is required, and candidates are required
to own their own tools. A working knowledge of
pneumatics and hydraulics is preferred.
Industrial Electrician
Wiring,
commissioning, installing and servicing electrical
and electronic controls such as; PLC’s,
electrical components, motors, sensors, operator
interfaces and limit switches. Assist in run-off,
debug and installation of equipment (machines)
at customer site. A working knowledge of PLC’s,
robots and electronics is preferred.
Inventory Coordinator
Monitors the progress of purchased and
manufactured items to ensure production
schedules are adhered to. Maintains acceptable
levels of inventory for standard items and
procures common consumable components in
accordance with standard purchasing procedures.
A mechanical aptitude with capacity to
understand various functional aspects of
machinery is required in this position. Solid
organizational skills and the ability to
prioritize are also essential. Post Secondary
education in a related field is required.
Material Handler
This position requires a self-starter who will
be responsible for preparing raw material for
the machining department. Duties will include
cutting bar, tube, steel or aluminium, deburring
and maintaining inventory of raw material. The
qualified individual will have good
communication skills, ability to read blue
prints and measure material for cutting.
Machine Builder
Fit and assemble fully
functional automation systems according to
assembly specifications. Assist in run-off, debug
and installation of equipment at customer site.
Strong team player, together with a thorough
knowledge of machine construction is expected.
Certificate of Qualification as a Tool & Die
Maker, General Machinist, Millwright or other
recognized technical trade is required. Experience
with pneumatics and hydraulics is mandatory. PLC
experience is preferred.
Machine Shop Lead Hand
As the ‘first line’
representative of management you will report
directly to the Production Manager. Your
responsibilities include assigning work
according to scheduled priorities, ensuring
quality and safety practices are followed,
assisting in the coordination of activities with
the fabricating shop as well as performing the
duties of a General Machinist. Journeyman status
and 4 years of supervisory experience is
required. Prototyping experience is an asset.
Mechanical Detailer
In this entry level position you will be
responsible for generating detail drawings from
solid model assembly using Autodesk Inventor. A
Technician diploma or degree in Mechanical
Engineering is required.
Project Manager
Reporting directly to the Admin Operations
Manager you will be responsible for all elements of
project management from receipt of purchase
order to final acceptance. You will be customer
focused and possess a demonstrated track record
for establishing and driving critical
relationships. Your superior interpersonal
skills are essential for interaction with our
internal team, customers and technology
partners. Strong written and verbal
communication and technical skills required.
Minimum 3 years experience.
Purchasing Agent
Responsible to ensure the
accurate, timely and cost effective receipt of
purchased components for machine assembly based on
Bills of Material and Requisitions. Your strong
organizational, interpersonal, and communication
skills are enhanced by your mechanical aptitude
and capacity for understanding various aspects of
automation machinery. You are resourceful and
possess sound analytical skills. Post Secondary
education in a related field. Relevant experience
required.
Service Coordinator
This new position will be responsible for
ensuring timely, proactive and efficient
customer service. Your superior interpersonal
skills will be complemented by a mechanical
aptitude, strong PLC background, and trouble
shooting expertise. Responsibilities include
developing this new value added role by managing
customer service requests, servicing minor
machine issues and coordinating service
requirements by close inter-departmental
communication. Minimum 5 years experience
servicing mechanical automation.
Shipper/Receiver
This individual is
the primary contact for physical handling
and inspection of incoming and outgoing
shipments. Requirements are: basic knowledge
of various mechanical components; MS Office
software; ability to prioritize and
communicate effectively and a Secondary
School Diploma. Typically the work is
self-directed.
Technical Sales Representative
As a dynamic, self-motivated
and pleasantly persistent individual you require a
technical aptitude and strong communication
skills. You are responsible for soliciting new
business, managing the quotation process,
negotiating sales contracts and passing
information on to our project teams. The primary
focus is developing and fostering customer
relationships.
