George Nechanicky began his career at Systematix in 1992. He is a licensed Tool and Die Maker and has worked extensively building and integrating the complex assembly and test systems we have become known for. As Production Manager, George leads both our machine shop and assembly floor and understands that having the customers view the company as a partner, not just machine builders is something that is very critical. He believes that this will help the company innovate and grow towards a very bright and successful future.
Throughout his many years of managing, he believes that co-operative management is the most effective for not only his team but also for himself. “My role is to facilitate the people that I work with to allow them to have the best chance of successfully completing their jobs or function in their roles.” Every day brings a new challenge that George is not afraid to tackle when he comes to work. He enjoys working with other employees at Systematix who all have differing skill sets but share a large passion for the work they do at the company.
George is also a passionate leader and mentor of the Elmira District Secondary School FIRST Robotics team of which Systematix is partnered with.
Not only does George enjoy backpacking and going on relaxing adventures through the wilderness, but recently he has picked up Enduro trail riding on a dirt bike. He enjoys the challenge of trying something new and knows not to give up when it gets tough.
