Preparing Learners for Life
Systematix supports STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education programs at all levels to help prepare young people for rewarding careers in automation.
We partner with many organizations and educational institutions either through donation, volunteering or by employing students from apprenticeship programs and co-operative education.
Here are some of our partners:
Co-operative Education
Systematix welcomes students from Co-operative Education programs at high school, college and university levels. We believe it is important to give young people early experiences in the workplace to help them gain a better understanding of themselves and the educational path they should pursue. Many of the co-op students we employ return for multiple terms and eventually become permanent employees.

Apprenticeship Programs
Systematix supports employees completing skilled trade apprenticeship programs.
Participants earn while they learn and complete the work hour requirements of the licensing or certification body with which they are registered including Machine Builder and Integrator, Electrician, CNC Machinist and General Machinist. Many of our current employees began their employment as skilled trade apprentices.
First Robotics Competition
The FIRST Robotics Competition is the ultimate Sport for the Mind. Under strict rules, limited resources, and an intense six-week time limit, teams of high school students are challenged to raise funds, design a team “brand,” hone teamwork skills, and build and program industrial-size robots to play a difficult field game against like-minded competitors. Systematix provides financial support and employees volunteer and act as professional mentors to the Elmira District Secondary School team called Sir Lancerbots. Each season ends with an exciting First Championship. Learn more.
Scientists in School
Systematix provides financial support for Scientists in School (SiS). This worthwhile organization is a dynamic Canadian charity dedicated to helping Kindergarten to Grade 8 students to become 'scientists in their school'. SiS programs foster a life-long interest in STEM, environmental stewardship and engineering, as well as encouraging the pursuit of future careers in science-related fields.
